Background data for the Amazon/Goodreads Book Series Study
As promised, here's the data that was used for the previous blog's analysis. It is as of mid-June 2014. These figures will change as more people rate and review books on Amazon or Goodreads, so this is a snapshot.
Seq = to identify the series uniquely.
Author = who wrote the series.
Series = name that the series commonly goes by.
Volume = book position within the series.
GR_Revs = number of goodreads reviews for the book (text review).
GR_Raters = number of goodreads people who rated the book (numeric rating).
GR_Rate = average numeric goodreads rating for the book.
Hopefully, people can import this fairly easily into excel or some other analysis package.
